Mexican Train dominoes, on your TV
The board is on the big screen. Everyone plays their own hand on their phone. Family in another city can join the same game, on their own TV and phones.
Free to play, with nothing to install, and players need no account. Bigger groups and other homes: Host Pass.
How it works
1. Open the game on your TV
Go to mex-train.app/tv in your TV's web browser and start a room. The TV shows a QR code and a 5-letter room code.
2. Everyone joins on their phone
Scan the QR code with your phone's camera, or go to mex-train.app and type the code. Pick a name and you're in.
3. Play
Your tiles are private, on your phone. Tap a tile, then the train to play it on. The TV shows every train, whose turn it is and the scores.
Made for game night
2 to 8 players
Double-12 dominoes for a full table. Short on players? Add bots to fill the empty seats.
Play across cities
Another household joins your room on their own TV and phones. Everyone sees the same live game. Call each other to chat while you play.
Your house rules
Families play Mexican Train differently. Pick your rules before you start: first-turn chains, covering doubles, how many rounds and more.
Fun on the big screen
The TV cheers big plays, with train whistles and a few dad jokes. Need a rules check mid-game? Put the rules up on the TV for everyone.
Help when you want it
The host can have phones gray out the tiles and trains that can't be played this turn. It never tells anyone which play is best.
No sign-ups
Players need only a name. Nothing to download: it runs in the web browser on TVs, phones, tablets and computers.
What you need
- A TV with a web browser (most smart TVs from 2019 on), or a computer connected to the TV.
- A phone, tablet or computer for each player.
- An internet connection.
